CHRISTMAS MAGIC

excitment was for the Christmas holiday; taken before Mass Christmas eve; I had a great time in Pa and Conn, spend lots of time with grandchildren and family; the weather was the usual cold bleak Pa stuff and add ice but not it's warm and sunny; and ready to start a new year in Okeechobee not exciting plans so far for tonight but we are in the card playing mode we had a marathon last night of 500 with Don and Gail:

BUSY WEEK

Friday night at the Villa with DW'S siblings; we had fun as usual; don't see enough of all of them; I am still out of sorts but hope to get it together this week time running out for shopping, baking, etc; the big storm missed Williamsport proper but the out lying areas got hammered;

Home again in Williamsport

Spent a few days at Lynn's with the twins; how cute they are now laughing and making noise and recognizing people; I really enjoyed my time there;
then back to Sayre Saturday night Maggi/Alli and I went out to dinner; Pam and Bruno went to his company party; we had a nice visit and I left Sunday headed out to Roaring Branch;;;;

Met DW and we went to the Christmas Contata at the church Jean played the piano and Gracie Mae and Amelia were "Angels" and Zack was a shepard recruited at the last minute they all did a great job::: Amelia was ""herself"" 2 songs off comes the wings and a walk about the church ending up on Poppy Waltz"s for a few minutes before going off to rescue the sheep!!!

Came home to a cooolldd House furnace was off and I think had been for a day or so; but called"the Guy" and I was back in heat in a hour or so only took 8 hours or so to warm the place up; All is well now and even a bit warmer today HIGH of 40!!!!! later Flo

SUNDAY AFTER

This is Bruno with his "helo" entertaining us after we are full of turkey and toooo stuffed to run: this one is a house flyer even in the dark with lights no one is safe!!! we had a nice weekend missed Lynn's family;

weather is ugly but I am hoping for a break to travel even more North::

Sunday in Billtown

Mass with brother ED he is doing well after the heart episode; hunting easy; no stress or heavy game hauling;

Dw and I braved the cold to geocach; we placed the BULLWINKLE MOOSE travel bug; and found another one near the river;

Looks like nasty weather for the Thanksgiving holiday but that's Pa for you;

Expect to see Gails'brother next Sat or Sunday he will contact me again;;;

Dw may go to the cabin tomorow weather permittinf that means not too many inches of snow at this time none on the ground for us but all around they have measurable inches; LOL till next time; Happy Turkey Day

Home Again

Hi home again in Pa sure miss the warmth of the South: good to see all the folks in SC and glad brother Ed is doing well look out Pa game I am sure he will be here

Spent Saturday afternoon with the grand girls they sure are nice girls we had fun; and got caught up on all the news:

hope to see all the rest very soon;

Had dinner at the Wheel on Sunday with Jean and Randy good as usual; lots of things to do catch u-all Later

Yep!! Pork Chops at the Happy Hour Tavern!!!! Tonight there were 9 of us and boy were they good!!!

Time to bid a short farwell to Okeechobee we will leave in the morning;; First day out should get us to Lugoff SC to check up on brother Ed to see how he is feeling::

Then we should make it to Pa by Friday night if all goes well;

I will miss Maggi's violin concert in Shamokin but hope to see the girls and Bruno on Saturday"""

SATURDAY IN OKEECHOBEE

Lazy start to this day; yesterday was busy we did a few household chores; all the windows in the Florida room are washed and shiny;

Then we went GEOCACHING with Donand Gail we always enjoy this and get a lot of laughs and great history lessons' Okeechobee has great building wall murals really colorful and fun to look at the history of this early cattle and tomato area; DW is great at finding the unusual ones hence the new name "Birddog" we finished the evening with catfish at the Moose;

This is our last week here;heading North for the holiday season::

ELECTION NIGHT

ANOTHER NICE DAY IN OKEECHOBEE; BREZZZY,SUN OFF AND ON::;

Today was wash day at Gail/DON'S so we played 500 makes the time speed by and we went to the Oasis (Masonic Assoc) for spaghetti; good tonight and they only ask for a donation;

It's nice to see that I have a few followers; last night the ladies went to see a movie"Nights in Roadeau" or however you spell it ;; Richard Geer ages well;;;

LAKESIDE UPDATE

lAKESIDE UPDATE FROM FLO AND DON; We have been very busy, in the mornings quite chilly 45-47 degrees but this am it;s 65!!! once the sun comes up it has been beautiful sunny, warm, low humidity;
Thursday we went on a GEOCACHING EXPEDITION with Don and Gail we found 11 sites all sort of containers one as small as a large bolt head with only a rolled up log in it; several the size of a shotgun shell with log in to update; and of course a few larger one much easier to spot;

DW is like a bird dog he can find them fast!!!!

we saw a lot of the lake and it's up tp about 14'8" very good also the info is a lot o history NO COUCH POTATOES here yesterday!!

Today is Friday Fish Fry at the Moose have a great day!!

Hey All greetings from CHILLY CHILLY Florida we started out about 47 degrees this am; very very nice now near 70 and sunny; visiting at Don/Gail;s hope to get in a game of 500 cards DW and I went on a GEOCACHING adventure this morning in the Buckhead Ridge Marina area we got really close but to verify our site we had to get our advisors on the phone; WE FOUND IT ;;;; and logged our visit
more in the area for us to look for in the next few days]
Worked on our roof leaks and have only one we are not sure of at this timen

not much happening at the RV Park yet only 1 other couple from Ohio are on site so far; more later Grammy Flo

Not much activity in Park yet some more snowbirds arriving next week

Dw is feeling better and bikes are aired up ready to RIDE!!!!!
