catching up

NOT SURE WHAT TO CATCH UP ON; we have been rather slow here weather chilly; not much activity; Last Saturday we had visitors Bruno, Wayne and Wendy to our neck of the state; we ate at our favorite Pizza place and really enjoyed their visit; Friday was our yard sale here nothing for me to sell but I helped::: This weekend is the SPECKLED PERCH FESTIVAL we went to the parade this morning and blinked and almost missed it!!!!! then we had a funnellcake and listened to some music before we walked around the craft tents; Today I finally shed my jeans and I am in capris yeah finally temps will climb the next few days just in time for Lori and Rand's arrival; my bronchitis is better and DW only had a cold so we are on the mend; went to the MOOSE today the first time in weeks;;

BACK IN FLORIDA

Back to the warm weather after a northern exposure!! I loved being with and seeing the family but for this season I really appreciate Florida; we are catching up on our CACHES; 500, Bingo, and some dancing this afternoon; then since it it Wednesday off to Happy Hour CAFE FOR PORK CHOPS; all is well with my world

First Saturday of 2009

This sure has been a busy week; New Years, lunch on NY Day at the community room; Sour Kraut;pork;hotdogs; and baked beans with Don and Gail plus some 500 and watching Penn State get slammed; oh well that's how it goes;

we have been riding our bikes about 9 miles every day now DW is thingking of upping the milage; we also walked at a new preserve saw lots of birds; and several alligators; and found a nice geoCACHE; Itook some pictures I will try to up load happy and healthy new year to all our loved ones and friends;;

CHRISTMAS MAGIC

excitment was for the Christmas holiday; taken before Mass Christmas eve; I had a great time in Pa and Conn, spend lots of time with grandchildren and family; the weather was the usual cold bleak Pa stuff and add ice but not it's warm and sunny; and ready to start a new year in Okeechobee not exciting plans so far for tonight but we are in the card playing mode we had a marathon last night of 500 with Don and Gail:

BUSY WEEK

Friday night at the Villa with DW'S siblings; we had fun as usual; don't see enough of all of them; I am still out of sorts but hope to get it together this week time running out for shopping, baking, etc; the big storm missed Williamsport proper but the out lying areas got hammered;

Home again in Williamsport

Spent a few days at Lynn's with the twins; how cute they are now laughing and making noise and recognizing people; I really enjoyed my time there;
then back to Sayre Saturday night Maggi/Alli and I went out to dinner; Pam and Bruno went to his company party; we had a nice visit and I left Sunday headed out to Roaring Branch;;;;

Met DW and we went to the Christmas Contata at the church Jean played the piano and Gracie Mae and Amelia were "Angels" and Zack was a shepard recruited at the last minute they all did a great job::: Amelia was ""herself"" 2 songs off comes the wings and a walk about the church ending up on Poppy Waltz"s for a few minutes before going off to rescue the sheep!!!

Came home to a cooolldd House furnace was off and I think had been for a day or so; but called"the Guy" and I was back in heat in a hour or so only took 8 hours or so to warm the place up; All is well now and even a bit warmer today HIGH of 40!!!!! later Flo
